Marriage Registration

Registration of marriage has been made compulsory by many state governments. In the past marriage registration was only obligatory and it carried less significance but now it has become mandatory. In order to register a marriage you need to visit the marriage registrar office with required documents like address proof, passport size photographs, for birth verification high school certificate,birth certificate, ration card or passport is required. In case of a new marriage the marriage has to be registered within sixty days to prevent from fine or penalty.
